Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions apply to all users of the Confidence mobile application and website.

By using the Confidence platform, you agree to abide by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. User Accounts & Eligibility

• Age Restriction: Users must be 13 years of age or older. Teenagers should be supervised by a parent or guardian.
• Account Information: You must provide accurate information (name, date of birth, phone number, email, username, profile picture, and bio) when creating an account. Providing false information may negatively affect your account standing.
• Account Security: Your account is for your personal use only. You may not transfer your account or grant access to any successor or third party.
• Corporate Accounts: Users operating our services on behalf of a company, institution, or organization are bound by these same terms and must alert officials of any updates to these policies.

3. Event Posts

Confidence does not control information entered on the event form, which includes event name, event type, event description, event venue, date, and time. Confidence also does not control the information on event pictures or flyers.

When information on the flyers does not match the form, event planners could be contacted. If the changes/differences are minor, they could be considered, but if they are major—such as differences in location or time—the event host must delete/remove the event and repost it with the corrections made.

4. Audio & Music Content

Confidence acts as a hosting and advertising service for audio content. The person or organization providing the content is entirely responsible for it.

Content must be your own original work or you must have explicit permission from your company/organization to prevent copyright infringement and other legal issues. Confidence reserves the right to remove or delete content if it is found to legally harm another user, subscriber, association, company, or organization.

5. Video & Movie Content

Considering our younger demographic (13 years and above), not all video content is permitted on the platform:

• Sexually explicit videos are strictly banned.
• Videos containing smoking, alcoholism, extreme violence, witchcraft, robbery, and other criminal acts will be carefully reviewed before approval.
• Movies and videos submitted should be approved by standard copyright authorities. If copyright disputes arise, the liability lies solely with the production company or uploader, and Confidence explicitly exempts itself from such disputes.

6. Marketplace (General Store)

Confidence allows subscribers to post and market quality physical goods. To protect our community, the following rules apply:

• Prohibited Items: You may not post tobacco, cigarettes, marijuana, or any other unapproved or illegal products.
• Liability Disclaimer: Confidence does not control the existence, functionality, quality, or accurate description of the items posted.
• Buyer Beware: Buyers are permitted to pay only through our platform payment integration to secure your funds and Confidence guarantees the safety of your funds in case of refund and fraud situations, but payment outside our payment integration is at your own risk and Confidence exempt itself from such a situation.

7. Monetization and Fees

Any fees for tickets, downloads, business promotions, or posting are subject to our pricing configuration and platform fees. Refunds, cancellations, disputes, and delivery timeframes are governed by our Refund & Delivery Policy.
